At the Table Nutrition Inc. respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal data we store about you. This policy outlines the data we collect about you, how we collect it, the measures we take to keep your data secure and the purpose for our uses.

At the Table Nutrition knows that you are concerned about the privacy and security of your personal information. We believe your personal information requires protection.

By using our web site, you consent to the collection and use of your information as we have outlined in this policy. From time to time, we may update this privacy policy. We will notify you about material changes in the way we treat personally identifiable information by emailing you and/or placing a notice on our web web site. We encourage you to check back and review this privacy policy so that you always will know what personally identifiable information we collect, how we use it, and to whom we disclose it. Your continued use of the At the Table web web site will be subject to the then current privacy policy.

Information Collection

Information collected is used to provide you with valuable nutrition assessment and advice as well as to provide you with information about our products and services. Your personal information may also be used to create anonymous statistics about our services and capabilities. These statistics do not contain any information that could identify you personally. At the Table Nutrition does not sell your personal information to any organization, for any purpose.

At the time you register for an At the Table member account, you will choose and provide us with a user name and password. When you upload information or resources, or post a comment or message on the At the Table web web site, your user name is visible to other users. Additionally, if your comment or message contains personal information and is posted by you in a page that is accessible to the public, third parties may make note of the information and you may receive unsolicited messages from other parties as a result. Any content or information you upload is not considered personally identifiable information subject to this Privacy Policy. Always use care when you post such information.

When you become an individual client of At the Table Nutrition, we collect personal information about you that may include medical information, information regarding your insurance coverage, your credit card number, email address, address and telephone number, so that we may provide you with nutrition assessment, dietary advice, and follow up services. We also collect personal information through our Nutrition Consulting Questionnaire to help potential clients communicate their nutrition needs. All information is collected with your consent.

You may provide us with certain personally identifiable information when you:

  • register for a At the Table member account;
  • order products or gift certificates;
  • request customer support or send us any other communication;
  • sign up for newsletters, email alerts, and special offers
  • become a Contributor;
  • enter sweepstakes or contests;
  • sign up for, or redeem, special offers;
  • respond to surveys;

Such information may include your name, health information, email address, billing address, shipping address, and credit card number. You may also provide us with information about other people, such as their email addresses, if you email a product to a friend or refer a friend to the At the Table web Web site.

Uses for Information Collected

We use the personally identifiable information you provide to:

  • provide the features and functionality of the At the Table web web site;
  • fulfill your requests for our products and services;
  • pay royalties and referral fees;
  • communicate with you about the status of your orders and other inquiries about our products and services;

Information Security

When you place orders or access your account information, we use commercially reasonable and generally accepted technological safeguards to secure any information we collect about you. The secure server software we use encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us. In addition, your At the Table member account information is password-protected for your privacy and security. You should always take steps to protect the confidentiality of the password you select.

We operate internationally and many of our computer systems are currently based in Vancouver, Canada. As a result, your personal data will be processed by us in Canada where data protection and privacy regulations may not offer the same level of protection as in other parts of the world, such as the European Union or in the United States. If you create a user account with us, you agree to this privacy policy and you consent to the transfer of all information you provide to Canada.

Strict controls are maintained over access to the personal information you share with At the Table Nutrition Inc. We strictly control access to your personal information to those At the Table employees who need this information to provide services to you. At the Table Nutritionuses leading service providers to assist with customer services and other key functions. We only share information that is necessary for these service providers to perform their role in assisting you. These third parties are bound by confidentiality agreements to keep all client and personal information confidential. Unless you have given us permission, your personal information will not be shared with these third party organizations.

We will only release your personal information upon your consent. We fully comply with the law and co-operate with law enforcement and other officials in any investigation requiring either personal or account information, including any information provided online.

At the Table Nutrition believes that securing your personal information is a very important part of our job. That means that your personal information is always secure with us. 

For instance, when you visit At the Table Nutrition or speak with one of our team members over the telephone to provide personal and/or medical information, it is stored on a secure server. This system keeps the information secure through electronic security systems ("firewalls"). 

By using At the Table Nutrition services, you are consenting to the collection and use of personal and medical information by At the Table Nutrition, for the purposes set out in this policy.

In the event that At the Table is acquired by, or merged with, another company At the Table reserves the right to transfer all information we have collected from our users in connection with such acquisition or merger.


At the Table uses cookies on the At the Table web web site. A cookie is a small text file on your computer which a web web site sends to your computer to allow the web web site to store information which uniquely identifies our users. At the Table’s Health cookies do not collect or store personally identifiable information. Rather, the cookie stores a token that uniquely identifies a particular user at a particular time. That token is then linked to the user information in our secured databases. You can always reset your browser to refuse all cookies or to display a message when a cookie is being sent. If you reset your browser, some of the At the Table web web site features and functionality may not be available to you.

Web Beacons and Log Files

At the Table collects certain non-personally identifiable information through the use of web beacons and log files. Such information may include your IP address, browser type, Web site usage, and whether you opened emails you received from us.

Web Site Analytics

We use non-personally identifiable information to monitor the use and performance of the At the Table web web site so that we can learn more about how people use the At the Table web web site and improve our products and services.

Changing Personal Information

Most of your account information can be changed in the At the Table member account section of the At the Table web web site by logging in with your unique user name and password. If you have any questions about what information is stored or would like to obtain a copy of such information, please contact us at After receiving proof of your identity, we will provide the information to you, and you may request that we delete or change any or all of the information.
